One of my most popular styles of pendants, my Tree of Life pendants are hand-formed with love. They are reversible as well, having backsides just as lovely as the front! You can often see more of the trunk on the reverse side. These are by far my favourite pieces to create, and are can be commissioned in almost any colour. This pendant is created with jet black Tourmaline chips on a teardrop frame. The tree is wrapped in a twisted, almost Bonsai-like style, so it looks like it's either old and wizened, or blowing in the wind! So pretty, so dark. It is made on a 16g silver-fill frame, and the trunk and branches are wrapped in 22g copper and 24g silver-filled wire.

If left in the open air this pendant will develop a patina, and become darker with time. I love the way they look with a patina, more earthy and antique. It turns the copper darker, like an old penny. The silver will darken too, but not quite as quickly as the copper. If you prefer, you can use a soft cloth to polish the metals on a regular basis to keep it bright and shiny.

It is a smidge wider than 1", and will hang 2" below the ribbon it is made with, which will be in a complementing colour. If you have a preference, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
